Imagine if you could go to London, Dubai, Florida, New York, Hawaii or Singapore. Which would you choose and why?
More than 40 5th and 6th graders were talking about an imaginary vacation to one of these interesting locations during our annual EFL workshop. They have been meeting for 5 days to plan a trip, make passports, chose hotels and make a short speech about their imaginary vacation. They had one-on-one interviews with American teachers. Also, they sang English songs, such as “A Whole New World” from the movie “Aladdin” and speaking activities like “Who am I?” Students were really trying hard to use lots of English and improve their speaking skills.
